The Kind Giant
Once upon a time, in a peaceful village nestled between the hills, lived a giant named George. Unlike the giants in fairy tales, George was kind and gentle. He had big, warm eyes and a smile that could light up the darkest day. The villagers were initially scared of him because he was so big, but they soon learned that George only wanted to help.
One sunny day, the village faced a terrible problem. A huge storm had destroyed the bridge that connected them to the nearby town. Without the bridge, they couldn’t trade goods or bring back supplies. The villagers were worried, and they didn’t know what to do.
When George heard about the trouble, he decided to help. He walked over to the river where the bridge had been and said, "Don't worry, my friends! I will build a new bridge for you!" The villagers watched in awe as George gathered big logs and stones. With his strong hands, he worked quickly and carefully.
After a few hours, the new bridge stood tall and sturdy. The villagers cheered and thanked George for his hard work. They realized that having a giant in their village was a blessing. From that day on, George was no longer feared; he became the village hero.
George continued to help the villagers whenever they needed it. Whether it was picking apples from tall trees or helping to carry heavy loads, he was always there. The villagers learned that kindness comes in all sizes and that friendship can blossom in the most unexpected places. They celebrated George with a big feast, and together they lived happily ever after.
