Verb Tenses: Past, Present, Future
Verb tenses help us understand when an action takes place. There are three main tenses: past, present, and future.
Past Tense
The past tense is used to describe actions that have already happened. It usually ends in "-ed" for regular verbs.

- Example: "They visited their grandmother yesterday." (action completed in the past)
Present Tense
The present tense is used to describe actions happening right now or actions that are habitual.
- Example: "He plays soccer every Saturday." (habitual action)
- Example: "She is reading a book right now." (action happening now)
Future Tense
The future tense is used to describe actions that will happen in the future. It is formed by using the word "will" before the base form of the verb.
