The Spooky Halloween Night
Once upon a time, in a small town, Halloween night was the most exciting night of the year. Children dressed up in costumes, going door to door for treats. This Halloween was special because the moon was bright and full, lighting up the entire neighborhood.
A group of friends—Lily, Max, and Sara—decided to explore the old haunted house at the end of the street. The house had always been a mystery. Rumors said it was haunted by a friendly ghost named Casper. The friends were both scared and excited.
As they approached the creaky door, it swung open by itself! “Maybe it’s Casper welcoming us!” Max joked, trying to lighten the mood. They stepped inside, and the air was cool and musty. Suddenly, they heard a strange noise coming from the attic.
“You scared us!” Sara laughed. They realized it was just the cat looking for a way out. The friends spent the rest of the night playing with the cat, sharing stories, and enjoying their Halloween treats in the haunted house.
When the night ended, they left the house with happy hearts. They had faced their fears and discovered that sometimes, what seems spooky can turn out to be fun. The friends promised to come back next Halloween for another adventure in the spooky house!
