The Lost Puppy
Once upon a time in a small town, a little girl named Mia found a lost puppy on her way home from school. The puppy had fluffy brown fur and big, sad eyes. Mia knelt down and gently patted the puppy’s head. “Where did you come from, little one?” she asked.
The puppy wagged its tail and licked Mia's hand. She decided to take the puppy home. “I will help you find your owner,” Mia said with determination. On their way, Mia asked her friends if they recognized the puppy, but no one knew where it belonged.
Mia and the puppy walked through the neighborhood, checking every house and asking everyone they met. “Have you seen this puppy?” Mia would ask. Some people smiled and said they hadn’t seen it, while others offered to help look.
Just when Mia was starting to feel worried, she heard a familiar voice calling out. “Buddy! Buddy!” A woman was looking around frantically. Mia recognized her as the puppy's owner. “Is this your puppy?” Mia shouted, waving her arms.
From that day on, Mia and Buddy became friends, and she often visited him. Mia learned that kindness can lead to wonderful friendships.
