Penny's Picnic Day
One sunny Saturday, Penny woke up excited because it was picnic day! She had been looking forward to this day all week. Penny quickly got dressed and helped her mom prepare delicious food. They made sandwiches, cut up fresh fruits, and packed some cookies for dessert.
Once everything was ready, Penny and her mom grabbed a big blanket and set off to the park. When they arrived, Penny saw the beautiful green grass, colorful flowers, and the bright blue sky. It was the perfect place for a picnic!
Penny spread the blanket under a big shady tree. They laid out all the tasty food and poured some lemonade. After eating, Penny and her mom played games like frisbee and tag. They laughed and enjoyed each other’s company.
As they were finishing their picnic, they noticed some butterflies fluttering around. Penny chased them, giggling as they danced in the air. The day was filled with joy and laughter.
When it was time to go home, Penny felt happy and grateful. “This was the best picnic day ever!” she exclaimed. Penny couldn’t wait to have another picnic adventure soon!
