Jake and the Friendly Ghost
Once upon a time, in a quiet little town, there lived a boy named Jake. Jake loved exploring, especially in his old, creaky house that had been passed down through generations. One stormy night, as lightning flashed outside, Jake heard a strange noise coming from the attic. Curious and a little scared, he decided to investigate.
When he opened the attic door, he saw a soft glow and a figure floating in the air. It was a ghost! But instead of being scary, the ghost had a friendly smile and said, “Hello! My name is Casper. I’ve been waiting for someone to find me!” Jake was surprised but felt at ease. He asked, “Why are you in my house?”
Casper explained that he used to live in the house long ago and loved to play games. He said, “I want to have fun again! Will you help me?” Jake's eyes sparkled with excitement. “Of course! What do you want to play?”
They played hide-and-seek, with Casper floating around and Jake searching everywhere. They laughed and had a wonderful time together. After hours of fun, Casper said, “Thank you, Jake! You are my first friend in many years!” Jake smiled and replied, “I’m glad we met. Can I visit you again?”
From that day on, Jake would often visit Casper in the attic, and they became the best of friends. Jake learned that sometimes, the things that scare us can turn out to be wonderful surprises.
