Reading Comprehension Quiz
Daisy and the Big Race
Daisy was a little rabbit with big dreams. She loved to run and wanted to be the fastest rabbit in the meadow. One day, she heard about a big race happening in the village. All the animals were talking about it, and Daisy was determined to join.
As the day of the race approached, Daisy trained hard. She practiced every morning, running through the fields and jumping over obstacles. Her friend, Benny the tortoise, cheered her on. "You can do it, Daisy! Just believe in yourself!" he said.
On the day of the big race, Daisy was nervous but excited. The meadow was filled with animals, all ready to cheer for their favorites. As the race began, Daisy took off like a lightning bolt. She was fast, but as she looked back to see how far ahead she was, she tripped and fell!
Feeling discouraged, Daisy thought about giving up. But Benny encouraged her to get back up. "Remember, it’s not just about winning. It’s about doing your best!" he reminded her.
With renewed determination, Daisy got back on her feet and started running again. She didn’t win the race, but she finished strong and felt proud of herself. All the animals cheered for her, and Daisy learned that it was more important to try your best than to win.
